No Foreign Bases conference was held in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S., on January 12-14, 2018. Videos here. Further information and shorter highlights videos coming soon to http://worldbeyondwar.org/bases

Decisions were made to organize a global coalition and conference on closing U.S. foreign military bases, to organize a U.S. national day of action against all wars this spring, and to mark February 23rd as 115 years since the theft of Guantanamo from Cuba. Updates here:

Already groups in Ireland, Iran, and Okinawa have proposed their countries as locations for the global conference on closing bases. If you have another idea, let us know.

When they’re filled out, you can email photos of them or a file of the data in them to info@worldbeyondwar.org or mail them to World Beyond War PO Box 1484 Charlottesville VA 22902 USA.

For January, the winner of this contest will receive a free t-shirt, sweatshirt, scarf, cup, banner, or any other item from our stores here or here. We’ll be offering larger prizes in future months if this goes well.
